The world can seem like a scary place right now; we get it. COVID is making event planning particularly challenging, but we also understand that it makes personal decision-making difficult for many too. So we hope to use this page to put your mind at ease, on various fronts.

First, we'd like to say that part of the reason we decided on this retreat at this time is because we understand that seeking traditional western medical care is becoming an increasingly dicey proposition, given that healthcare settings are fraught with high risk for infection. Thus, it's more important than ever that we all take increasing charge of our health and wellness, and we want to give you the tools to do so, while making our retreat as low-risk as possible for you.

ON-SITE CARE

We are proceeding as if this event is happening Nov. 12–15, 2020, and are doing so while taking every precaution available to keep you safe, including:

1) Hand-selecting the location due to the spaciousness of its accommodations and commitment to keeping a clean and germ-free environment;

2) Using the biggest and airiest meeting rooms available;

3) Making sure there is always cleaner, hand sanitizer, and disposable masks available for attendees; and

4) Encouraging social distancing during the event.

POSTPONEMENT & CANCELATION POLICY

Having said that, we want to be as honest as possible and say up front that there is a chance that the event may be postponed, given the rapidly changing nature of a pandemic. We are monitoring the situation closely on a national, state, and local level, and checking in with our facilitators to ensure that we're making the best decision for everyone involved. Should the event be postponed, given our goal to keep the attendee size very small, we will consult with attendees to determine the most convenient date for rescheduling.

If we postpone, or in the unlikely event of full-out cancelation, we will be refunding 100% of ticket purchases, unless, in the event of a postponement, attendees choose to roll over their ticket to the new date. Likewise, if ticket-holders feel it necessary to choose against attending the retreat as currently scheduled because of personal concerns related to COVID, we understand fully and will ensure that funds are returned to purchasers in full, up to two weeks prior to the event. If requesting a refund less than two weeks before the event, we will keep a 20% fee, as many of the costs involved with organizing a retreat are nonrefundable on our end.

LIABILITY

It is our intention to walk gently in this world and treat others as we would like to be treated. Thus, we expect that attendees understand that we are doing everything in our power to reduce your risk and ask for the same in return. For that reason, every attendee will be required to sign a release from liability waiver, so that we may ensure our continuity, because friends, we've got important work to do.
